Sony Xperia Z5's 'Fleeting moments' campaign shows European cities in stunning 4K

Sony has commissioned a series of short films shot by filmmakers from London, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona and Milan using the Xperia Z5's 4K smartphone camera to capture each city's essence.

Each filmmaker tells the story of their home city using the Z5, which boasts high-resolution, super-fast autofocus, 0.03s shutter-speed and x5 Clear Image Zoom.

In one film, born-and-bred Londoner Lee Cheney takes the viewer through a snapshot tour of his home, telling them he envies visitors coming to the UK capital for the first time.

The 'Fleeting moments' shorts are available to view on YouTube, where they are appropriately viewable in 4K resolution, and are introduced by a video from Sony explaining the project:

Cheney’s video features landmarks such as Tower Bridge, St Paul's and the O2 Arena, with sweeping panoramas intercut with shots of real people from different walks of life, including a group of tattoo-sleeved hipsters.

"It's exhausting being surrounded by history, but I’m a Londoner and I'm so proud to say that," Cheney says.
