
Spotify, the music-streaming service, launched the Flash video player today with the Sony campaign for the Tony Scott-directed crime thriller remake.
The video player runs inside the Spotify application and allows the user to pause, play, rewind and adjust the player volume.
A separate audio message will announce the movie's release date and drive users to click on the campaign banner to view the trailer.
Spotify says the video player enables brands to serve exciting visual content to an extremely captive audience.
