LONDON - Sony Ericsson will promote its new fashion handset, Jalou, with a Dolce & Gabbana-designed ad campaign in October.

The mobile manufacturer is launching a limited edition Jalou handset designed by Dolce & Gabbana. The rose-coloured mobile phone will have 24 carat gold plating.

Photography and video clips from Dolce&Gabbana's women's Autumn/Winter 2010 runway show will be pre-loaded on the handset.

The standard Jalou comes in three colours - Deep Amethyst, Aquamarine Blue and Onyx Black - and features a facet-cut jewel form.

The phone has 3.2-megapixel camera, music player, video recording, 3G, Bluetooth and web accessibility.
