
The three event caterers were involved in an extensive tender process, which involved Somerset House visiting each caterer allowing them to demonstrate their offering. They were judged on how they worked with venues, as well as their company policy and sustainability credentials, which were used to ensure compliance with Somerset House Trust’s policies.
The new companies will join the venue’s existing caterers, which includes Alison Price & Company, Bubble Food, By Word of Mouth, Mustard Catering, Suzanne James, Table Talk and Zafferano.
Emma Barrow, head of events at Somerset House, said: "We were looking for caterers we felt could bring a new element to the list we have, and Ampersand, Clement Worrall and Rhubarb certainly demonstrated both creativity and value for money.
"We are confident that the new additions to our suppliers list will widen the scope of our events even further."
