Guests were able to explore a number of settings including the garden, which was adorned with box hedges and topiary trees. They were able to listen to birds chirping and chatted to enthusiastic botanists.
Edible gardens were also on display and made of pea purèe, pea shoots on a bed of edible soil. Rhubarb also served fillet of lamb marinated in shallots and honey served on branches of rosemary alongside a smoked halibut gribiche. The team from Pernod Ricard was on hand so that guests could make their own garden martini.
Bearded Kitten provided live commentary in the living room, forming a real-time reality programme through a large retro TV screen. Over-sized mirrors and sofas were provided by Great Hire in the space where guests could sit down and relax.
The kitchen was full of cooking action with chefs working hard at the stove, serving a collection of beautiful dishes including cheese soufflé with English asparagus and minted peas alongside Cornish crab with black tomato and compressed cucumber and tuna tataki with ponzu and edible flowers.
Dessert included strawberry and basil and lemon sherbet mousse, pretty-as-a-picture cronuts, macaroons and frozen yoghurt lollies.
The garage space included a hangout area, where drinks were served on chalk poseur tables. Guests could learn the art of graffiti as well as dress up and have a photo taken in a photobooth.
Suppliers involved in the event included Ficklestix, Mary Jane Vaughan flowers, TMAV, Great Hire, Pernod Ricard, Corney & Barrow, Bearded Kitten, Graffiti Life, Gallowglass Security, EMF; Shok, Kontekst, Nukleen, Jam Staffing and Pommery.
