
Digital creative agency Collective designed the widget to build awareness of the game before its release on Nintendo DS today.
The widget incorporates a series of Flash games to help familiarise users with the environments, game play, characters and other elements of the role-playing game.
Sega will use social networking sites such as Bebo, Piczo and Skyrock to enhance the viral effect of the widget.
Collective has included download packs as an in-game reward that allows users to decorate their web pages.
