Samsung launches global ad pitch for new mobile phone

Samsung's global agency Leo Burnett is up against CHI & Partners and Grey for the business.

It is still to be established how much of Samsung's ad account will be shifted to BMB in the UK after the mobile company's in-house agency, Cheil, bought a stake in the firm.

Samsung's UK marketing director Mikah Martin-Cruz said the global pitch and account moving forward will be managed from the UK.

In the UK, Samsung's current ads focus on the Tocco touchscreen slider phones.

The mobile manufacturer is also currently pushing into the music mobile marketplace, launching a range called Beat.
