Saab uses USB keys for Turbo X campaign

LONDON - DraftFCB is to send USB data sticks to 10,000 drivers as part of a targeted mail campaign to promote the new limited-edition Saab 93 Turbo X.

The personalised mailout, which will be sent to 8,000 Saab drivers and 2,000 others, includes an invitation to book a test drive for the new jet-black performance car, which has a production run of just 500.

The mail will be accompanied by a USB device, loaded with a Flash movie that demonstrates the car's capabilities, including 3D graphics and a link through to the product's website.

Graham Pugh, DraftFCB creative director, said: "Our brief was to create something special. Instead of choosing between DM and digital, the two are connected seamlessly."

The goes on sale this summer and comes with a starting price of £32,495.
