The Rubicon Project, whose system matches publishers' available inventory with the highest paying demand source, has teamed up with mobile advertising platform mOcean to offer premium web publishers mobile ad serving, campaign management and ad network optimisation.

Using its REVV Marketplace platform, Rubicon premium sales channel partners will now have access to mobile and display inventory in one place.

Earlier this month research by the European Interactive Advertising Association revealed people who have mobile internet spend more time using it every week than the average person spends reading newspapers or magazines. 10 million people in the UK browse the mobile internet in a typical week.

Craig Roah, Rubicon Project chief operating officer and founder, said: "As our customers continue to expand their advertising channels, it's our goal to provide them with a single digital advertising technology and data platform, engineered exclusively to empower publishers to monetize content and data across all digital media."

. The company is sitting on investment cash it is expected to use on acquisitions to expand the company globally.
