Pairing up in the skies above RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, the display was admired by more than 130,000 visitors who attended the weekend.
The annual event, staged in support of the RAF Charitable Trust, also saw the Finnish army and Estonian air force as two new additions to the Tattoo.
Three themed visitor zones were also introduced this year. This included the Adrenaline zone, featuring extreme sports such as a zip wire and the Caterham Driving Experience with a professional driver, and the Vintage Village, taking visitors back to the 1930s.
The Techno Zone also gave people the opportunity to ‘fly’ a Typhoon on a simulator or try out their sporting prowess with the RAF Rugby 7s team.
Nigel Samuels, who produced the show, said: "The new initiatives to upgrade the overall show experience have been a huge success, with the introduction of new themed areas.
"The Vintage Village and the Adrenalin and Techno Zones have exceeded our wildest expectations and customers appear delighted with our Air Tattoo Crew volunteers."
