RMG Connect recruits Hale to head creative department

LONDON - RMG Connect has recruited Lyndon Hale, the executive creative director of digital agency Wheel, to head its creative team.

Hale, who was only promoted to the board position of executive creative director at Wheel in February this year, will now become joint executive creative director alongside Guy Bradbury, who has been promoted from creative director.

RMG Connect said the changes were prompted by the promotion of Trefor Thomas to executive creative director EMEA. Katrina Howell's role as creative director will remain unchanged.

Hale was at Wheel for two years, where he worked on the creative campaigns for British Gas's House portal and BAE Systems.

Hale has more than 16 years' creative experience and has previously worked at a number of above-the-line and online agencies. Prior to Wheel, he worked at Modem Media on the General Motors, Hewlett Packard, Persil and Philips accounts.

Jonathan Harman, RMG Connect chief executive, said: "Today's customer relationships are managed on and offline, so it's important that we have world-class creative leaders from both worlds.

"In Guy, Lyndon and their team in London, we have an enormous breath of talent we can offer to our clients."

RMG Connect's clients include HSBC, Vodafone, Shell and Weight Watchers.
