With only three days left to register as a London Ambassador, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and Spurs manager Harry Redknapp are showing their support for the recruitment drive.
A total of 8,000 Ambassadors are needed for the 2012 Games.
Thousands of people from across the capital have already signed up, but registration closes on Friday (7 January).
The Ambassadors will be located at one of 35 information booths across the city's transport hubs, Games venues, City Live Sites and tourist hot spots and will provide much needed information on what to see and do, where to stay and how to get around the city.
"Londoners will play a vital role in welcoming visitors and showing them the real London," said Redknapp. "We want our visitors to remember Londoners as warm, friendly and welcoming - people who want to show off their city and share the parts of London that, as a Londoner, you can personally recommend.
"This is why I encourage Londoners to volunteer as London Ambassadors during the Games. Not only is this a once in a lifetime opportunity, it's your chance to welcome the world to London in 2012."
Wenger added: "After many years living in the UK’s capital, I am immensely proud to now call London my home. So, I’m supporting the Mayor of London’s plan to recruit London Ambassadors, who will provide a world-class welcome for visitors to the capital at the time of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012."
