Lloyd will drive the development and global sales of the business-to-business data company's OMNI database.

Information Arts works for blue-chip brands such as Dell, Vodafone and Shell.

Lloyd has 22 years experience in the industry, having worked for Dun & Bradstreet and Experian and most recently launching InfoUK for US parent InfoGroup in 2008.

His departure was spurred by a change of strategy at InfoGroup, which was bought on 1 July by CCMP Capital.

InfoGroup has decided to manage InfoUK from the US and is not seeking a replacement for Lloyd.
