He takes over from Jim Hodgkins, who has taken a global role as executive vice-president for Experian Marketing Services.
Zablan was previously group president of Marketing Services, Experian North America. He also led the Marketing Services business globally.
Charlotte Hogg, managing director of Experian UK and Ireland, said: "Mark's leadership skills and first-class understanding of the marketplace will play a pivotal role in developing the Experian Marketing Services business in the UK and Ireland."
