The event is expected to attract more than 300 members of the Guild and guests to 66 Portland Place in central London.
The annual awards ceremony, which recognises outstanding achievements in food writing and broadcasting, will take place in RIBA’s Florence Hall, located on the first floor. The evening will be hosted by Guild member and TV broadcaster Aggie MacKenzie.
High-profile guests expected to attended the awards include food critic Jay Rayner, authors Claudia Roden and Lucas Hollweg, and TV presenter and founder of Wahaca, Thomasina Miers.
Ampersand will be providing the catering for the event, while RIBA Venues has been tasked with the AV and production.
Stephanie Ellrott, head of venues at RIBA, told Event: "Building events for awards has fast become one of our specialities here at RIBA and we have an excellent in-house AV team working on the production of tonight's event.
"The Guild of Food Writers Awards is just one of many prestigious names to have chosen the Florence Hall for an awards ceremony. The evening is also a great opportunity for our in-house caterer Ampersand to shine in front of a very important foodie audience."
Earlier this month, RIBA was chosen by The Guardian to host its third on 16 May.
