Rezzed – organised by Gamer Network - held its inaugural show at the Brighton Centre in July 2012, attracting around 4,000 visitors.

Now it hopes to bring up to 10,000 visitors through the doors at the NEC Birmingham on 22-23 June.

Gamer Network events director David Lilley said: "Opening the show up to the whole country is exciting for us and we're looking forward to building on the success of the 2012 event. This year Rezzed will be bringing all the hot new PC and independent titles from all over the world, as well as some of the hottest development talent. It's a barnstormer."

Rezzed 2013 will showcase independent manufacturers and publishers of computer games and publishers of interactive games for video games consoles, handheld devices, personal computers and the internet.

Visitors also have chance to hear first-hand from games designers, and try out games.

NEC business development director Chris Hartley said: "We believe we’re the perfect venue to grow Rezzed; shows that launched at the NEC in 2010 grew by an average of 30% in year two and around 13% in year three, so I hope we can build this relationship and take it forward."
