Revenues for the world number-two outdoor company were €1.75bn (£1.19bn) to the end of 2005, compared with €1.63bn in 2004. The group achieved organic revenue growth of 4% for the year.
Revenues for the group's UK business were up 5.5% to reach €259m and for North America the figure rose 11.2% to €111m.
JCDecaux continued its expansion in Asia Pacific, with the rapidly growing Chinese economy giving the group a 67.7% reported growth to generate €173m in revenue. This week it won an extension to its Hong Kong International Airport contact until 2009.
The results were marred by a downturn in JCDecaux's French business, which was down 0.9% on 2004 with revenues of €555m.
The fastest-growing medium was the transport business, which saw revenue grow by 25% to reach €392m. Its street furniture business was another 2005 success story with revenues up 4.9% to €925m.
Jean-Francois Decaux, chairman and co-chief executive, said: "With a stronger-than-expected fourth quarter, JCDecaux achieved a sound organic growth in 2005, despite a softening advertising environment in some European countries, especially France."
JCDecaux's fourth-quarter revenue grew 12% to €517m after reporting 6% and 5% growth in the previous two quarters.
