Reen has held the top sales role at IPC Connect and TX since 2001, having first joined the company in 1993 as a sales executive from the Mirror Group. He was appointed to the board and to the post of ad director in 1998.
He is to be replaced at Connect, which publishes women's weeklies such as Now and Woman's Own, and TX, the TV listings division, by Neil Perkin. Perkin adds this role to his existing responsibilities as corporate account director.
Perkin joined IPC eight years ago as a senior sales executive in the home interest group. He was promoted to ad manager on Homes & Gardens and Living Etc, before moving to run its now defunct digital sales division in 2000.
He took on the role of corporate account director with overall responsibility for all advertising and sponsorship revenues in 2001, following the closure of the digital operation.
The changes follow Georgina Crace's appointment as managing director of Wallpaper in April, in addition to her role as managing director of IPC Advertising.
Crace said the moves would allow Reen and Perkin to develop the existing skills and grow their expertise in other areas.
"Mark and Neil are both hugely talented, with exceptional track records in our industry," she said. "They will be leading very committed, strong teams and I am sure they will both shine in their new roles."
