IPC Media has appointed ad directors Mark Reen and Janey Pilkington to the boards of IPC tx and IPC Connect respectively.

IPC Media has appointed ad directors Mark Reen and Janey Pilkington to the boards of IPC tx and IPC Connect respectively.

The pair replace Simon Hills, who was promoted in June to corporate sales director and deputy to Georgina Crace, IPC Advertising managing director.

Reen and Pilkington will be involved in executive decision making and will represent sales at board level.

IPC tx's media properties include the TV listings magazines, such as TV Times, and the entertainment portal UnmissableTV. IPC Connect houses the women's weekly titles, including Now, Woman and Woman's Own.

Reen joined IPC tx in 1993 as a sales executive from Mirror Group. Pilkington came to IPC Connect in 1998 as advertisement director from Express Newspapers.

'These promotions will enable Mark and Janey to contribute to the development of their groups,' said Crace.
