REaD Group hosts wine challenge for DM industry luminaries

Leading movers and shakers from the DM and digital sectors gathered last month for the first ever REaD Group Wine Tasting Challenge, an event that was supported by Marketing Direct magazine.

REaD Group's CEO Mark Roy introduced the evening by urging guests to "forget the economic woes" and have a good time.

And they did. The attendee list read like a who's who of DM and digital (see picture gallery below). Mark Patron, chief executive of e-CRM specialist RedEye, rubbed shoulders and clinked glasses with John Dobson, new business director of EuroDirect.

Meanwhile Howitt CEO Nick Dixon, attired in his usual pin-stripe, found himself teamed with Jon Cano-Lopez, managing director of Ai Data Intelligence, host Mark Roy and Blue Sheep executive chairman Iain Lovett.

Everyone wanted Acxiom's Nick Martin, wine connoisseur, on their team. For good reason: his gang were outright winners.
