RDP appoints Holistic to manage newly merged database

LONDON – Response Direct Publishing has appointed Holistic List Management to manage its 600,000 mail order records, which have been merged into one database to make it easier for marketers to access and select relevant data.

RDP has moved the management of all of its databases that contain data on proven mail order buyers from EDM to Holistic. The newly created database has merged four of RDP's consumer lists.

These include: the Consumer Information Centre; Travellers Oasis; The Gallery; and InfoSelect; as well as a new list, the Kiddies Collection, which contains contact details of mothers with young children. The majority of those on the database are females aged between 25 and 64 years of age.

List buyers can select telephone data and lifestyle variables with interest areas in charity, finance, health, travel, home improvements and subscriptions. All of the data is no more than 12 months old.

Charles Boliston, managing director at RDP, said: "We appointed Holistic because of its track record in responsibly maximising revenue from lists. We were particularly interested in its strategic consultancy expertise, and how it could bring this to bear to make our mail order databases more profitable."

The list is priced at £110/1,000  for postal and £130/1,000 for telephone data. The price for selections is £10/1,000.
