EDM launches affluent holidaying Travellers Oasis list

LONDON - EDM has launched a new list for the travel market, putting consumers in touch with specialist UK operators that provide expert travel advice and exclusive offers.

Travellers Oasis is a quarterly travel supplement containing information on worldwide travel opportunities with 66,839 names and addresses.

A5 brochures and inserts are sent out with publications such as Saturday and Sunday Times, Mail on Saturday, Sunday Telegraph, Sainsbury Magazine, Marks & Spencer's Magazine, Radio Times and Good Housekeeping.

According to EDM: "Consumers have a number of methods to respond including direct mail, telephone, email or the internet. Travellers Oasis generates many enquiries from reaching such a vast audience. Demographic and lifestyle information is gathered from each respondent, providing a good understanding of these consumers."

Described as affluent ABs, the list has a profile of 45-75 years old with 62% female and 38% male bias.

The profiled group takes take two-three holidays a year, spending on average 拢1,000-拢3,000. As a group it regularly donate to all types of charity by post and covenant and is actively investing across a range of products.

The file is aimed at those launching a variety of offers including mail order, charitable concerns, travel and holiday packages, financial and investment planning, gifts and collectables and any other upmarket offers.
