The ITV1 hit returns on November 16, once again hosted from Australia by Ant and Dec, and sponsored by Iceland.
ITV won't confirm any of the celebrities until nearer the show's start, but media reports suggest that they will include former Blue singer Simon Webbe, Sex & The City author Candace Bushnell and Peter Duncan, who was a 'Blue Peter' presenter.
Georgina Baillie, the girl at the centre of the Russell Brand/Jonathan Ross phone message furore, is also tipped to be appearing.
The producers are promising that this year the "boundaries will be pushed to the limit", suggesting that the already gruesome Bushtucker Trials, which have seen celebrities eating kangaroo anus and fish eyes to win meals for their fellow contestants.
As well as the main evening programme on ITV1, fans can keep up with the jungle goings-on ITV2, ITV.com and ITV Mobile.
Richard Cowles, who is executive producer on the show, said: "We have a magnificent cast of celebrities in place but their trip to the jungle promises to be anything but a walk in the park.
"We have bundles of surprises up our sleeves and some of the most gruelling Bushtucker Trials ever seen."
Last year the series was won by Christopher Biggins and spawned a short-lived romance between former EastEnder Marc Bannerman and Welsh singer Cerys Matthews.
Other winners have included Kerry Katona and Matt Willis from Busted.
