Radio Times takes listings onto iPhone

LONDON - Radio Times has launched an iPhone application costing £1.79 that lets users browse TV and radio listings for 400 stations.

The app is available from the and Apple's App Store.

It was designed by a US company called tvCompass and also works with the iPod Touch.

Kathy Day, publishing director of Radio Times, said: "We're really proud of this application for iPhone and iPod touch as it's a great mobile extension of the Radio Times brand and provides an excellent user experience."

BBC Worldwide, parent company of Radio Times, was the first UK distributor to make HD content available for Apple's iPod and iPhone.
