The lighting and marquee giant, which has only missed one Oxford Street Christmas lighting job in 59 years, will create a display using over 500,000 light bulbs.
Celebrities from the new 3D Disney adaptation of Charles Dickens ‘A Christmas Carol' which stars Jim Carrey, are expected at this year's switch-on ceremony on 3 November.
Piggotts will also provide lighting for Regent Street, Bond Street, Marylebone High Street and South Molton Street.
"Installation begins on 4 October in preparation for the switch-on and we have contemporary and innovative lighting designs to wow the millions of people who flock to the West End during the Christmas period," said Piggott's managing director Nick McLaren.
Pop trio Sugababes were in attendance last year performing ‘Push the Button' as they turned on the Oxford Street lights.
Crowds will be entertained by a selection of performers and for the first time ever a joint switch on with Oxford and Regent Street is planned.
