The event, which was held in collaboration with Event Prop Hire at the theming company's London showroom, invited 100 Yelp elite reviewers through the doors into a surreal, multi-themed adventure.
Guests were tasked with completing a series of photo-based challenges while exploring the rooms, which ranged from a 1950s American diner to Alice’s Wonderland.
In line with Yelp’s ethos, the unusual setting showcased a range of London’s eateries, from Patisserie Valerie truffles to grilled cheese from Melt Room. More unique offerings included handbag-shaped cakes and pickleback juice from The Pickle House.
The evening aimed to instigate social media interaction, and guests posted feedback and quirky photos as they made their way through the showroom.
Alex Sheber, community director for Yelp London, said: "Yelp is all about showing the most useful, interesting and coolest things in your city and I can’t think of an event that did that better than this one.
"Event Prop Hire are wizards of surprise and enchantment and the eyes of every single Yelper lit up every time they walked into a new themed room. Plus, we had the chance to show off some of the best eats, drinks and sweets London has to offer."
