From 12-9pm across the three days, the East Piazza of the shopping district will be filled with pop-up stalls from the likes of Gordon Ramsay’s Heddon Street Kitchen, Pop Chips and Thistly Cross Cider. Guests can expect mulled wine alongside mulled cider, mulled mead and even mulled ice cream.
The event will support the switch on of Covent Garden’s Christmas lights on the 12 November. Fashion and film production designer Michael Howells has designed the illuminations, which take inspiration from the mythology of mistletoe and the area’s reputation as a friendly meeting place.
The locale’s 22-foot tall silver reindeer will also be making a return. As the lights are switched on, ‘snow’ is set to fall on the audience, while contemporary a capella group After Party will perform from 6pm.
Music acts Headliner and Phizz will also perform at the festival. Models of Diversity, Shout About London and Superbooths will provide other entertainment.
The three-day event will support homeless charity The Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields. To secure entrance, guests have been asked to check in on the Yelp app or make a £10 donation to charity.
