In pictures: Pringles enlists Katie Price for world record attempt

Snack brand Pringles attempted the world record for most piñatas smashed yesterday (20 May) in a colourful stunt at Potters Fields Park.

The event, which welcomed guest star and model Katie Price, was organised to celebrate the launch of Pringles’ new Tortilla Chips range. Hundreds of the brand’s fans had a go at smashing 550 papier-mâché donkeys created by experiential agency Zerotwonine.

A giant donkey made entirely of Pringles tubes overlooked the messy action. Guests were also given the chance to sample the Kellogg brand’s new flavours: Original, Sour Cream, Nacho Cheese and Spicy Chilli.

Louise Thompson Davies, Pringles brand PR manager, said: "What a way to introduce our new Tortilla Chips to the world. Pringles really did bring the party atmosphere of a Mexican Fiesta to London today and the public got fully into the swing of things to make it a truly memorable day."
