The aim of the evening was to showcase new and unusual technology platforms, and to bring the agency’s Inspiration Station blog to life.
Among the exhibitors was production company Inition, which highlighted its virtual reality, augmented reality and 3D tech that guests could try out themselves, as well as printing company Screaming Colour, which creates laser cut, etched and digitally embossed finishes for event invitations, among others.
Other interactive experiences included The Flash Pack’s multi camera bullet rig, and Apache’s gaming experiences.
Sean Doyle, head of creative services, Concerto Live, told Event: "We’re all buzzing from the success of last night’s inaugural Inspiration Station Live event, a lot of people put a lot of work into making sure this was a showcase that offered guests something more: inspiration, entertainment and education.
"We welcomed over 200 guests from companies such as Nike, Topshop, Adobe, Canon and Getty Images, all keen to be inspired by new technology and more importantly how to use it for brand communication. Our partners did an incredible job in showcasing their very latest innovations and we’re looking forward to using the solutions in the live events we produce for our clients."
The free-to-attend evening also included cocktails, canapés, and innovative food from caterers Create, including a sous vide station, and -321 degree ice cream.
Event is the official media partner for Inspiration Station Live.
