The event took place at private member’s club Home House in central London. Alongside a bar area and cupcake table, the venue also featured a candy-themed photobooth.
Guests in attendance included confirmed acts for the fashion show, Ella Eyre and Rae Morris, as well as British singer-songwriter Charli XCX. Radio 1 DJs and presenters of The Clothes Show’s Fashion Theatre, Gemma Cairney and Alice Levine, also made appearances.
Guests from the fashion world included fashion journalists Hilary Alexander and Caryn Franklin, as well as the models behind the event’s 2015 campaign: Erika Pattison, Hannah Dodd and Rhiannon Laslett.
, commercial director at Haymarket Exhibtions, took to the stage for a speech that welcomed guests to the celebrations. She said: "What we’re here to celebrate tonight is Clothes Show moving forward. The show has always been at the forefront of British fashion and it will continue to be so, as well as the largest consumer event within the UK.
"This year we are going to develop the show further. We’ve got a huge line-up of talent and excellent features that we’ll be working on throughout the year; we’re going to be working with industry experts, as well as a number of high street, designer and boutique brands, and working with recent graduates and developing our educational programme further."
Before welcoming singing group Urban Voice Collective to the stage, Hamizadeh raised a toast to the late .
This year's clothes show is taking place on 4-8 December at the NEC in Birmingham.
