
Hamizadeh will be responsible for the division’s portfolio, which includes Autosport International, Classic & Sports Car: The London Show, Fruit Focus and arable farming industry event Cereals, as well as The Clothes Show.
She will be responsible for the overall strategy of the brands, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and partners. Hamizadeh has also been tasked with developing new revenue opportunities.
The director began her career at Haymarket as its first ever placement student on The Clothes Show, . She rose through the ranks of the fashion event across 13 years, and last year guided it through a .
Kevin Costello, chief executive of Haymarket, said the appointment represents the company’s commitment to growing its festivals, awards, conferences and exhibitions area of the business.
He added: "I am confident that Maryam’s experience and expertise will lead her to further strengthen our portfolio, as well as find new revenues for future expansion."
