The Clothes Show announces 2016 dates

The organiser of The Clothes Show has announced it will return to the NEC in Birmingham on 2-6 December 2016.

The news comes a week after the fashion event closed its doors on the 2015 edition, which attracted a total of 97,000 visitors across five days (4-8 December). More than 350 brands were present at the event, including headline sponsors Alcatel Onetouch, Lambrini and Citroën.

Owner Haymarket Media Group announced plans to in April. The company stated the revamp, which included , had been successful in enriching the guest experience.

Big activations included Alcatel Onetouch’s Fashion Theatre in association with Capital FM, which hosted more than 40 top models, dancers and special guests on stage, and The Olympus Pen Style Studio, which offered exclusive trend presentations and interviews from designers and industry experts.

William Paterson, country director of Alcatel Onetouch, said: "This has been our fourth year working with The Clothes Show and our second as headline sponsor. Without doubt this has been the most successful event yet for Alcatel Onetouch.

"We had fantastic engagement with the public on our stand allowing us to showcase our products. The overall show was of the highest standard yet, a great mix of exhibitors, a wide breadth of products and the Fashion Theatre was, as ever, excellent."

Maryam Hamizadeh, director of exhibitions at Haymarket, added: "This year The Clothes Show underwent significant changes to help grow and refresh its long standing reputation as the UK’s largest and most iconic fashion and beauty event. The line-up of celebrities, industry experts, and educational content was stronger than ever, and the presence of more high-end designers, boutique brands, and high street labels enhanced the shows offering to consumers."
