The half-day event technology conference focused on technologies that will shape the future of the industry.
The holographic interview with Dr Paul Redmond, which focused on his research into the future of work and generation Y, was delivered by event partners Musion and Eclipse Presentations.
Other highlights included a keynote speech delivered by futurologist Mark Stevenson, who discussed disruptive technologies of the not so distant future and interactive discussion sessions exploring Google Glass and iBeacon technology delivered by Sli.do and Eventbase respectively.
Eventbrite also took to the stage to discuss the future of ticketing and registration and the event was closed by journalist and presenter on Channel 5’s The Gadget Show David McClelland, who spoke about the power of merging technologies together.
Delegates had the opportunity to get hands-on in experience pods, featuring virtual reality technology Oculus Rift and delivered by Visualise 360, as well as test out 3D body scanning with 3D printing specilaist Quod.
White Space Productions demonstrated the latest in stereoscopic 3D technology, and Excelerated Apps and Blendology provided radio-frequency identification technology in delegate badges.
Maria Schuett, Central Hall Westminster’s marketing manager and conference producer, said: "We were able to bring together some incredibly exciting technology with excellent speakers that stimulated the discussion about how the tech could impact the events industry in the future."
