The winners are Baldwin, a copywriter from London, and Rowland Davies, an ex-creative director from Munich, Germany. Baldwin and Davies, who were recently made redundant, were appointed through intermediary Idea Bounty.
Baldwin's idea which he created for both TV and print campaigns bagged him $10,000, while Davies received $5,000 for his TV campaign idea. The work will air early next year.
More than 1,185 ideas were received which make use of the infamous Peperami Animal character. Ideas Bounty used an advertising campaign across Haymarket Brand Media brands to publicise 's brief and encourage creatives to sign up.
Noam Buchalter, marketing manager at Peperami, said: ‘We were so overwhelmed with the level of entries and range of high-quality creative ideas pitched for the brief that we found it impossible to pick one, so we bought two.'
Specialist agency, Smartworks are now set to start work to produce the ad.
