Papa John's offers delivery through branded iPhone game

LONDON - Pizza delivery chain Papa John's has struck a marketing partnership around a paid-for iPhone game called Papa's Pizzeria within which players can order its pizzas.

The game is developed by X2 Games and will be on sale for 59p later this month.

The game will feature the Papa John's logo, pizza boxes, menus, pizza titles and ingredients and Papa John's will promote the game on its menu, direct mail and web portal, Papa's Lounge.

Andrew Gallagher, national marketing manager at Papa John's, said: "Papa John's is established at the forefront of the pizza industry in terms of innovation, technological advancement, and using the web as a communication channel to reach customers.

"This strategic tie-in with X2 Games shows our commitment to technology and follows our recent launch of mobile web ordering and development of the Papajohns.co.uk website."
