The marketing consultancy has been tasked with relaunching the brands website, as well as handling digital communications and social media activity, all of which rolls out in May.

In a traditionally discount and vouchers-led industry, ASK is looking to restablish its brand credentials with consumers while continuing with the promotional approach.

Sharon David, head of marketing at Ask, said: "We recognise the value of digital marketing and feel that the new web site can be designed in such a way to give guests at Ask an even better level of service – before they have even stepped through the door."

Ask has around 120 restaurants across the UK and is part of the Gondola Group, which also owns Pizza Express and Zizzi.

Ask has been working with The Brandbean since July 2009 when it was initially tasked with branding activity.

The consultancy was set up in 2008 by ex-Unilever marketer, Hilary Strong, and has offices in London and Buenos Aires. Strong left Unilever in 2008, having held the position of global brand director on Knorr.
