Online loyalty scheme Ipoints secures five new partners

LONDON – Ipoints, the reward scheme for internet retailers, has signed five new partners, including CD seller 101cd.com and florist bunches.co.uk.

All the partners are offering the scheme's consumer members the chance to earn Ipoints for every £1 they spend with them. The other three partners are books retailer , gifts and gadgets-focused and jeweller .

The scheme has around 900,000 members and more than 300 partners offering more than 200,000 different rewards.

Geraldine Tosh, managing director of Ipoints, said: "We are extremely please to have signed up these five major new partners, all of whom have real commitment to building their brand through long-term customer loyalty."

Jon Williams, marketing director at , said: "By giving our customers the chance to be part of the UK's most generous online loyalty programme, we will be providing real added value, and early tests show that this leads to greater frequency of purchase, and significantly larger basket sizes."
