GIG Sport built a temporary structure at the Here East venue stocked with free-standing equipment where chefs prepared a range of buffet-style dishes.

Bonnie May, GIG’s global operations director, said: "It is a privilege to have been able to play a part in this special event which supports our military personnel and celebrates their achievements as they recover from the terrible injuries they have suffered in the line of duty.
"We were also delighted to welcome Prince Harry to Here East on several occasions throughout the Games and hope he enjoyed the meals he selected from our extensive menu."
Organised by The Royal Foundation of the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge & Prince Harry, in partnership with the Ministry of Defence, the event was inspired by the Warrior Games in Colorado, which Prince Harry visited last year, and was supported by the delivery team from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Teams from Afghanistan, Australia, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Georgia, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand and the US arrived in London at the beginning of last week, enjoying an opening ceremony on Wednesday (10 September) which included the Competitor’s Parade, a fly past by the Red Arrows and an exclusive performance of the official anthem written by Coldplay’s Chris Martin.
The closing concert on Sunday (14 September) presented by Jaguar Land Rover saw special performances from the Foo Fighters, Kaiser Chiefs, Ellie Goulding, Ryan Adams, The Vamps, Rizzle Kicks, James Blunt, Diversity and Military Wives Choirs.
