Advertising agency R/GA has employed live video streaming specialists Streaming Tank to broadcast the gig, which is being pitched as the ‘biggest free music event of the year'.

The content will be screened to both Nokia phones and a special Nokia microsite as part of the launch for the brand's new X6 model with music edition.

"What makes this a different event is that viewers will be able to select the camera they want to watch," said Streaming Tank director James Wilkinson. "It gives them so much more control on how they control experience Rihanna's performance. This is definitely a first."

In the past Streaming Tank has been known to stream live events for brands such as Barclays, Cadburys and Stella Artois.
