British Gas has been under assault from rival energy firms after revealing price hikes earlier this year. NewLogic has been charged with communicating the brand to new customers and improving the customer experience.
NewLogic said it was building the programme on a performance-related basis, and that it was jointly investing to share in the success.
Frances Michaelis, head of outsourcing at Centrica Business Services, said: "One of our key reasons for appointing NewLogic was its creative approach to our brief, and its clear and detailed understanding of our requirements. The resulting commercial model has provided both organisations with common goals that satisfy both of our objectives and create a clear working partnership."
Phil Westoby, managing director of NewLogic, said: "Although this acquisition approach is still relatively new to the industry it's a simple case of meeting oversupply and commoditisation head-on, and underwriting it with excellent service and added value."
