The vintage-inspired evening to raise funds for disadvantaged young people in the region will be headlined with an exclusive showcase of a collection by designer Matthew Williamson.
Hosted by TV and radio presenter and Prince’s Trust Ambassador, Jameela Jamil, the evening will also include inspiring stories from young people helped by The Prince’s Trust and an auction of ‘money-can’t buy’ items and experiences, such as luxury stays at Langham Place New York, and tickets to the X Factor live final in December.
A Laurent-Perrier champagne reception will be held on the Station Hall platform, followed by the runway show then a three-course dinner.
The event is one of the region’s largest fundraisers for The Trust and has raised more than £250,000, since it began five years ago.
Chairman of The Prince’s Trust Yorkshire and the Humber development committee, Richard Jackson MBE DL, said: "We wanted to find a venue that would reflect the vintage theme of the Fashion Dinner this year, so where better to host it than amongst some of the UK’s oldest and most iconic trains at the National Railway Museum."
