
The online music service was relaunched in the UK in May after its first incarnation was shut down by court action because it facilitated the illegal downloading of music.
Now, the new-look, legitimate , owned by Roxio, is planning to launch a drive to pull new users on to the system.
Rob Gotlieb, marketing manager at Napster, said: "The key focus is on generating subscribers to the Napster service, which offers a wealth of features to members, including access to more than 1m full-length tracks, exclusive content and ad-free interactive radio stations."
Odd, a design-led creative agency, was appointed after a creative pitch for the business, according to Napster. The agency's current clients include Emap's Kiss 100 and Kerrang! brands, as well as Sony PlayStation2 and BBC Radio 4.
