During the ceremony, which will mark the 45th anniversary of the Man Booker Prize, six shortlisted authors will each be presented with a cheque for £2,500 and a hand-bound edition of their book. The Man Booker Prize-winner will then receive £50,000 in a ceremony that will be broadcast by the BBC.
The six shortlisted entrants include A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki; Harvest by Jim Crace; The Lowland by Jhumpa Lahiri; The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton; The Testament of Mary by Colm Toibin; and We Need New Names by Novoilet Bulawayo.
Gail Heron, sales and marketing manager at Moving Venue, said: "We pride ourselves on being experts at partnering with companies for awards ceremonies, and it’s extremely exciting to be able to cater at such a high-profile event. I’m positive the evening will be a great success for all involved."
Lisa Perkins, event manager at Four Colman Getty, added: "We are looking forward to working with Moving Venue on one of our favourite events of the year. Following a fantastic tasting we are looking forward to seeing it unfold on the night."
