Vincent joined the QEIICC in 2003, and will leave after a 35-year career in the meetings, exhibition and events industry.

Commenting on his decision, Vincent said:  "I’ve very much enjoyed these past ten years leading the hugely talented team at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, a venue that continues to be widely sought after by meeting planners, many returning year after year."

Applicants for the chief executive role are being sought.
