Mother is shortlisted three times for work for Ikea, with two digital nods for "The passport challenge" and "The joy of storage" [above] and a film nomination for "Fly robot fly".
AMV BBDO also has three shortlisted entries, all for Dixons Carphone, including its "Spare the act" Christmas campaign for Currys PC World.
Bartle Bogle Hegarty is shortlisted twice for its Samsung work: one digital entry for "Samsung bedtime VR stories" and a film nod for its "School of rugby" campaign for the Rugby World Cup starring comedian Jack Whitehall.
Cheil London rounds out the shortlist with a nod for "Re:Shakespeare" for The Royal Shakespeare Company and Samsung Electronics.
Separately, the Energy shortlist for the Big Awards is comprised of two entries from AMV BBDO for Smart Energy, including both film and outdoor ads.
Judging for the Big Awards – the annual celebration of creative excellence in advertising – is taking place this week.
An awards ceremony celebrating the best work of the year will take place at London's Grosvenor House on Wednesday, 19 October.
