Every quarter, Mintel will send members of the club a selection of 10 new products from around the world, featuring pack designs that stand out.
Members will also receive a short presentation explaining exactly why these products were chosen and how the ideas can be adapted to work successfully in different categories and markets.
Each product is selected from Mintel's global new products database, which monitors worldwide product innovation in the consumer packaged goods market.
More than 650 new products are added every day and Mintel has associates in over 130 countries sourcing products with innovative packaging from across the globe.
Examples include the Benadryl Perfect Measure single dose spoon from Pfizer Consumer Healthcare in the US, which helps children to take their medicine without spilling it.
Another product is Splashers from Clif Bar in the US, which is a children's drink mix in a wave-shaped sachet.
Helen Osman, head of Mintel Research, said: "We set the club up in response to our clients asking for examples of innovative packaging that use new formats, designs or materials and with membership to the club they will get just that.
"From the products sent to companies in the pilot, we have already had clients asking for extra samples to show to colleagues and use in research, so the selections are clearly exciting people and getting the ideas flowing."
