Media Icon to handle sales for new dance music channel

LONDON - Media sales company Media Icon has been appointed to handle UK ad sales for Clubland TV, a new dance music TV channel.

Clubland TV is a joint venture between UK dance event organiser, All Around the World and VITV, owner of TV channels Fizz and Channel "U". The channel made its debut on the Sky in January.

The channel's content mirrors the Clubland dance compilation CD series, which feature a mixture of chart hits and new tracks, aimed at 14 to 25-year-olds.

Clubland TV is Barb-rated and the first advertisers signed up by Media Icon will debut on the channel during the second half of April.
