MCM Creative expects profit increase of 45%

MCM Creative Group has announced that its end of year accounts are expected to show a 45% increase in net profit year-on-year, as it announces the appointment of Karen Evans and Brendan McCaul as directors.

MCM Creative has also said that its financial results for the past 12 months will show an increase in sales of 17% year-on-year. Key clients for MCM include HSBC, and Pearson International.

Meanwhile, Evans joins as client director, following previous senior positions at Because, The Marketing Store, and The Engine Group. Her new role will be split between client strategy and the agency’s business development. She has worked on a number of brand campaigns, ranging from British Gas, Britvic and Superdrug to Unilever.

As creative services director, McCaul will be responsible for devising creative strategies for MCM’s clients. He was previously director of global productions at Be The Image and has won two BAFTAs for producing and directing, and created IVCA award-winning campaigns for brands including Procter & Gamble (P&G), PwC and Lamborghini. He also spent more than ten years producing and directing a range of programmess at the BBC.

MCM is also due to move offices from Hammersmith to Richmond this year.
