Joining as digital planning director is Steve Nettlemill, who arrives from BT where he was responsible for the development of and the integration of the site with all of BT's marketing channels.
Steve Lindley joins McCann-i as digital creative director from TCW Creative where he was interactive creative director working with clients such as the BBC, Granada, Emap and the North West Development Agency.
The two join Mark Kelly, client services director, who since November 2002 has had day-to-day responsibility for 18-strong team.
The new three-strong management team will report directly into Sue Little, chief executive of McCann-Erickson Manchester.
"McCann-i had a very successful year in 2003 against a fairly flat industry picture," Little said. "These appointments give the operation the senior level expertise that it needs to continue its successful growth."
The creation of the new management team coincides with the completion of a multimillion-pound redevelopment of the McCann-Erickson Manchester offices at Bonis Hall in Prestbury and the appointment of Mike Williams as chairman of Universal McCann Manchester.
Williams was appointed following the departure of Universal McCann managing director Andrew Thomas who is to leave his role to launch a new company, which will have a focus on digital marketing.
