Former Digerati heads launch digital agency The Raft

LONDON - Former Digerati heads Phil Storton and Shaun Keefe have launched a new agency called The Raft, offering digital, design, advertising and DM services.

Storton was managing director of Digerati, the digital arm of BDH/TBWA, a position he took up in January 2002. Prior to that he worked at the web agency Fi System Brand New Media. He takes the role of managing director of The Raft.

Keefe was projects director at Digerati and takes the role of operations director at The Raft. Both men left Digerati last summer.

Storton said: "Our team have a huge amount of experience across both business-to-business and consumer sectors, executing a wide range of tailor-made communications from digital marketing strategy and web development, through to direct marketing, design print and display solutions."

is based in Cheshire. The agency is already working for British Energy and property development company Stone Lake Property.

Digerati appointed Jacques Nel from Tequila\Manchester and Neal Andrews from McCann-Erickson Manchester as digital directors last October.
